The home is designed for an Expatriate Scandinavian businessman, his wife, their three children and two dogs. They had purchased this newly built home on the island of Sentosa. The home enjoys a magnificent vista and the client wanted a home that was eminently practical and infused with an aura of easy, relaxed living.
The kitchen, in particular needed addressing to make it functional for the needs of a young family. At the same time, the clients wanted a home elegant enough to entertain business clients. Our challenge was to achieve all these goals simultaneously.
We are particularly proud of how we have captured the essence of island life and created home that resonates with an subtle Asian vibe giving the client the sense of place that they were looking for, yet at all times respecting the crisp modern architecture style of the home.
